About Us
The Northriding Residents Association (NRA) is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Northriding. Our goal is to foster a safe, clean, and connected neighborhood where everyone feels proud to live.
Our mission is to:
- Strengthen community safety and security.
- Maintain clean, accessible public spaces.
- Bring residents together through community-driven initiatives.
What We Do
Security Enhancements:
Working with local security to improve patrols, we would like to install surveillance cameras, and deter crime with neighbourhood signage.
Environmental Maintenance: Regular clean-ups, addressing drainage and pollution concerns, and maintaining sidewalks and parks with local employment initiatives.
Community Building:
Organising events and drives to support residents and improve quality of life, including winter essentials collections and neighbourhood gatherings.
Why Your Support Matters
Funding is essential for the NRA to:
- Enhance security with new equipment and signage.
- Employ workers for sidewalk and general upkeep.
- Launch environmental improvements for the neighborhood.
We’re asking for R100 per household to help us sustain these projects. Your contribution goes directly toward creating a safer, cleaner, and more welcoming Northriding.
