Small Acts, Big Impact at the Northriding Blood Drive
On Saturday, 18 April 2026, the Northriding community proved once again that we are stronger together. Our recent Blood Drive was a resounding success, marked by a spirit of generosity and a shared commitment to saving lives.
The Power of 38 at the Northriding Blood Drive
We are thrilled to announce that 38 donors stepped forward to contribute. To put that in perspective, every single donation has the potential to save up to three lives. This level of participation is a beautiful reflection of the compassion found right here in our neighbourhood.
Celebrating Our Supporters at the Northriding Blood Drive
An event of this scale relies on the support of local businesses and dedicated partners. We would like to extend a special thank you to Sasol Blandford for their instrumental role in the day’s success.Their sponsorship of a 60-litre fuel lucky draw added a layer of excitement to the morning. A huge congratulations to Paul Naidoo, the lucky winner of this fantastic prize!
A Community Effort
The smooth execution of the day was made possible by a team of professional service providers and partners:
SANBS: For their expert staff who ensured every donor felt safe and comfortable.
Flume Invites: For the creative and eye-catching design of our promotional materials.
Skyz Supplies: For high-quality poster printing and the creation of our lucky draw box.
TRSS: For providing a professional security presence throughout the event.
Steadfast Guarding & UREMS: For their medical emergency standby and ensuring total peace of mind.
What’s Next?
This event was a powerful testament to what we can achieve when we work toward a shared purpose. The Northriding Residents Association is deeply grateful to every donor, volunteer, and sponsor who made this day count.
We are already looking forward to our next community initiative. Stay tuned to our channels for updates on how we can continue to make a positive difference in Northriding together.
Thank you for showing up, Northriding!
